We’ve always known it, but now everybody does — according to SmartAsset, Pittsburgh is the “most undervalued city in America.”

The distinction was mentioned in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review which reports that “SmartAsset has crunched the numbers —unemployment rates, prices per square foot, high school graduation rates, crime rate, entertainment establishment density, average days with precipitation, average number of days with bad weather — and found Pittsburgh to be the best deal.”

Our city also placed very highly when it comes to education. Of all of the cities evaluated, Pittsburgh had a 93% high school graduation rate, the second highest. 37% of adults have at least a a bachelor’s degree.
